Behind The Scenes Pass
A Behind The Scenes Pass is an AQWA lover’s dream, taking you deeper into the aquarium & closer to our animals than ever! Access our exciting restricted areas while enjoying a behind the scenes tour, glass bottom boat ride & animal feed! Age 4+. Throughout your experience you'll gain a rare insight into the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of our aquarists caring for the animals and exhibits, PLUS you can even assist with one of our scheduled feedings. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the aquariums with your new VIP insight, as General Admission to AQWA is included!

Includes:
- Entry to AQWA
- Fully guided tour through AQWA’s behind the scenes areas
- Intimate small-group experience (max 9 people). Private bookings also available.
- See (and smell!) the unseen, non-public areas of AQWA
- Glass bottom boat experience above the Shipwreck Coast shark aquarium
- Meet our rescue turtles & learn more about our Turtle Rehabilitation Program
- Assist in an animal feeding
- Gain VIP insight in to the everyday running of a major aquarium and caring for hundreds of marine creatures
Availability and bookings:
Sessions run Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays with additional sessions during school holidays.
Maximum 9 people per session.
Must be aged 4+ to participate. Children aged under 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Bookings are essential. Non-refundable.
Good to know:
Ages 4+. Children aged 4-12 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult for the entirety of the experience.
Enclosed non-slip shoes are recommended.
Must be capable of navigating stairs and walking for 30+ minutes.
Pre-booked tickets do not include ‘priority entry’ to AQWA, so arrive with plenty of time before your booked experience starts, in case there is a queue.
Availability is limited and is subject to change without notice.
Missed sessions or “no-shows” will NOT be rescheduled or refunded. If you need to reschedule your booking, contact AQWA as soon as possible.
