A VISIT TO AQWA
AQWA showcases the iconic and incredible marine life of Western Australia, much of which is found nowhere else on Earth!
A must see for all ages and for locals to tourists alike, AQWA boasts Australia’s largest single aquarium and underwater tunnel (with moving conveyor belt); one of the world’s largest Coral Reef displays and more than 45+ unique exhibits, all featuring only native Western Australian marine life and living corals.
As you explore our big, blue backyard which spans over 12,000km, you’ll journey from the icy cold waters of the southern ocean to a tropical wonderland in the far north. Along the way you’ll encounter your favourite marine life like sharks, stingrays, turtles and clownfish and be surprised by creatures you might never have even imagined existed.

Accessibility
Wheelchairs: AQWA's entrance & exit has ramp access and our Shipwreck Coast aquarium (the underwater tunnel) can be accessed via lift. Wheelchairs can be hired at Reception. Prams/Strollers: We recommend using a baby carrier if able - this gives your little one the best view of all the action! We also have dedicated 'pram parking' near our Reception, for you to easily collect your pram when needed. Strollers can be hired at Reception.
